See Where Jason Stands

Public lands

Utah’s public lands are integral to our state identity. I’ll use my voice to address responsible and sustainable resource use, streamlined permitting, and economic prioritization. Allowing for a balanced approach to conservation and development while reducing the risk of wildfires.

Economy

I’ll advocate for policy that fosters a business-friendly environment. I want to create jobs, remove ineffective taxes, reduce regulation, promote free-market solutions, and expand job creation. I'll support small businesses by focusing on workforce deployment, energy independence, and technology for economic growth.

Civil Discourse

I’m committed to open communication, respecting diverse perspectives, and defending free speech. Civil behavior, active listening, community-based solutions, and academic freedom are the paths to balancing passion concerning constructive conversations. I stress the importance of problem-solving, and creating dialogue that promotes the continued prosperity of Utah.

Education

I prioritize school choice to provide diverse educational options tailored to individual needs. Committed to fiscal responsibility, I will bolster local control, and give parents a role in educational values. I want to reduce excessive governmental intervention and bolster our educational institutions.

Water Policy

I am committed to finding a balance between agricultural and urban water needs in our community. I advocate for local control, market-based solutions, and infrastructure investments. I will protect private property rights, and create systems for voluntary conservation.

Tax Policy

My approach focuses on simplifying the tax code to ease the burden on individuals and businesses, while ensuring that tax relief reaches working families and small businesses. By committing to fiscal responsibility, supporting local communities, and investing in education and infrastructure, we can create a tax system that promotes prosperity and supports the needs of all Utahns.

Affordable Housing

For decades, Utah has experienced unprecedented growth. This growth, soaring inflation, and high interest rates has caused the dream of home ownership to slip away from many.

To tackle these issues, it's crucial that government initiatives support, rather than hinder, solutions, avoiding regulations or procedures that could worsen the housing crisis.
